I woke up one morning, and my butt just wouldn't fit into my jeans. It wasn't always like that. And of course, the damage wasn't done overnight.
My body had just committed itself to me, by devoting 9 months to losing shape, and form, so that I can bring in a beautiful baby into this world. 10 months later, I expected that a miracle would happen, and I will go back to my size six dresses. For where?
Now I'm sporting flabby Christian mother arms, and stretchmarks are tattooed in places I'm not even going to think about. The most painful part was hearing my husband call me 'Mama' … at my small age?
You know what Fela said about African woman now? I be Lady o.
The only thing that got me this far, is my beautiful baby, who happens to be worth all the scars.
Well, I decided to tough it up, and started looking for ways to lose it quick, and stay slim... that’s the plan.
I have been surfing the net for months, and its either I find recipes or ideas that are too extreme for me to follow, or ingredients that I cannot buy in Ikeja market, or Shoprite. Worse still, some were just not realistic.

Well, I decided to tough it up, and started looking for ways to lose it quick, and stay slim:
- I will be all Nigerian about it,
- I wont count calories,
- And I intend to make it my lifestyle.
So, I invite you all to journey with me, as I go from beautiful to beaaaaaaaautifffulllllll! And fit and keep it that way.
My mantra is… I am worth it. I'm worth the stress, the effort, and the devotion.
So, to all Naija ladies out there not just moms… lets go!
